I am watching Juno right now and it means so much more to me than it did when I first saw it. Michael is working out at the gym (good for him!!!) and I'm sitting on the couch. In all fairness, I went biking with Michael yesterday but it was so hot. I can't workout like I use to! But that's OK. Walking is good :-) I wish I could find a gym around here that has prenatal water aerobics, but I can't seem to find one.

This week is going to be amazing! Only 4 more days of summer school, then we have our sonogram on Thursday, and then I get to see my family in Ohio for the 4th! I can't wait :-)

Ok...bye for now!

11 Weeks!

I can't believe that I am already 11 weeks pregnant. We have known for 7 weeks, but it feels like just yesterday. It is as equally as amazing how much my body has changed over the past few months. I felt SO sick for a majority of the day today...from the moment I woke up until 1:00 today, I felt like I was going to be sick! I really hope this is not just the beginning of this!!!  We are nearing the end of the first trimester and I was/am really hoping that the morning sickness thing would be going away. But...this is all for an amazing reason and I will work through it.

Summer school is almost over!!!! 7 more days and then I'm free :-)

Well, I'm going to watch some TV and probably take a nap while waiting for my husband to get home.

10 weeks!!

So we are 10 weeks and 1 day today!! I can't believe we have know that we were pregnant for 6 weeks now! It still feels like a dream...I just can't believe that I'm pregnant. I have dreamed of having a baby of my own my whole life and it is absolutely amazing that we are well on our way.

Speaking of being 10 weeks pregnant, the morning sickness issue has gotten worse. Still no vomiting (although I have come close), but I feel sick a majority of the mornings and the evenings. I'm still tired as can be and I'm always hungry! There are some other weird things happening to my body...but we will just leave it at that :-)

Michael has been incredible throughout this whole thing! He wakes up early to make me breakfast, he cooks dinner and cleans up after, he empties the litter box without complaining, he tries to keep his driving fluid so I won't feel as sick in the car, (and so much more!) and he does this all without complaining! I wouldn't make it through this trimester (or life for that matter) without him.

Michael is going to make an amazing father too! He is nervous about changing diapers and all of that, but he will learn. I can't wait to see him hold our baby in his arms...

Well, that's it for now. Bye!

Summer School

Well, summer school started today and I really wish I didn't sign up to do it. It is good money, which Michael and I can really use when I'm on maternity leave, but it is an unnecessary stress. My kids are OK...they are leaving kindergarten so they are still babies and most of them act like it. I forgot what it was like to have kids this age...my first graders grew SO much over the school year I can't believe it! Working with my summer school kids makes me feel better about what I did with my kids from last year :-)

Well, I'm tired...so I'm just going to relax! Bye for now

Amanda's wedding!!!

Amanda and Owen got married yesterday and it was BEAUTIFUL! The wedding was at 10:30 a.m. in a Catholic church in Dallas. I was so worried that my dress wouldn't fit...but we got it on! However, I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. My dress was really tight. I really felt like a sausage all morning. I was afraid if I took too deep of a breath, my dress was going to rip at the seams. The wedding and reception was awesome, but I was counting down the minutes until I was able to change into something I could actually breath and sit in!

After the wedding, Michael and I headed over to Pat's parent's house to hang out with friends/their family. Pat's parents are REALLY nice! They always take us in, feed us, and treat us like part of the family. :-)

We can't wait for Holly, Pat, and Georgia to move up here. I know they will still be an hour away, but it is better than 3 like it is right now. Georgia has gotten a LOT bigger in this past month. I have missed her SO much and it was really great to get to hold her again. It is amazing how much I love Georgia (and she is not even my daughter), imagine how much I'm going to love our peanut (I would already do anything for him/her) :-)

I start summer school stuff tomorrow, but I only have to teach 4 weeks until I can actually begin summer!! I am so ready for a break. We going to Ohio over the 4th of July weekend, then my parents are coming here for a while (YAY!), then it's off to Florida for a week in the end of July.

Well, that's it for now. Bye!

So we are 8 weeks pregnant today and the pregnancy symptoms are coming on STRONG! I felt so sick today at school it was crazy. One of the teachers across the hall told me I should go to the cafeteria and ask for some crackers, which I did, and they helped a little. Man...I have really been eating a lot because if my stomach is empty at all, I feel extremely sick. I have also been getting more tired by the day! Last night I fell asleep in the beginning of the bachelorette (one of my favorite shows) because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I would pay $1 million to have a bed outside at recess at 1:00. I knew all of this was supposed to happen...it's just strange that it is all happening to me!

I have had a few cravings...today I craved a chocolate malt (thanks to my mom ordering one at Red Robin one time!!) even though milk products really make me feel sick. I only drank 1/4 of it before I had to give up, but it was AMAZING! LOL. I have also craved steak, which if you know me, that is weird. And the two worst cravings that I have and I can't do anything about are for beer and sushi! The first night that I can really leave the house with our baby I want to go to Sushi Axiom!!!

Well, that's it for now. BYE!
